Stayed here for a short break visiting the Cotswold's.
Absolutely first class hotel in superb location, with lovely staff, great food, excellent pool and spa. Would thoroughly recommend for a break away from it all.
Conveniently nestled on the edge of the Cotswolds’, our location offers the perfect location to explore the surrounding countryside and attractions. We are very popular location for walkers and cyclists, and five minutes from the Cotswold water park, offering a range of outdoor options. Cirencester, the ancient Roman capital is six miles away, with its’ busy street café culture, minster and array of local traders. Easily commutable are the beautiful locations of Bibury with its’ trout farm, The Slaughters, Stow on the Wold, Malmesbury and Tetbury. Ten minutes from the M4 arterial route, access to Bath and Bristol is also very easy.
For those moments of relaxation and changing down gear, our golf, spa and other leisure activities, provide the ideal opportunity to slow down for a bit and take in our wonderful location.

I've loved this hotel since my first stay in 2015. This is a gentle cotswolds country hotel. It is a beautiful old building in a peaceful location with a swimming pool and staff who will give you a warm welcome.

However it is the staff that set this hotel apart from others. From the warm welcome we received in the conservatory/bar when we arrived for coffee morning through to checkout our requests, even if a little odd , were met with professionalism and fielded with good humour. We were treated like guests at a country residence and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We recently had our daughter’s wedding blessing in England for relatives and friends who could not attend the service in the United States last year.
A huge thank you to Cricklade, and especially to Derek, for making our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding blessing a memorable experience for all of us. It was a picture perfect setting for a destination wedding!

This country hotel in lush green countryside is a tranquil hideaway and perfect retreat to relax and unwind from today's fast paced living. The staff were warm, friendly and professional. Utilised the Spa facilities and had some lovely soothing massages and treatments. The food was exceptional, tantalising and tasty fine-dining with simplistic but flavoursome combinations to tickle the taste-buds.. Birthday celebrated with my friend and we were not disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Day spa visit. Lovely day spent relaxing. We both had a back massage which was very relaxing and enjoyable. Tyra and Sarah both knew what they were doing and were very good, calm friendly and professional. The spa facilities were very nice. All followed by a cream tea in the conservatory which had gorgeous views of the country side but was still warm and cosy. Our waiter Wayne was very nice attentive professional friendly and also good at his job quick and efficient service with a smile. Over all and wonderful experience would recommend.
